Job Description
Being in a Zoologist career takes a lot of hard work and determination. People in this type of career study plants and animals in their natural habitats. They have to observe closely at the things they're looking at. They do inventories and estimations on plant and wildlife populations. A zoologist has to organize and conduct experimental studies with live animals. Zoologists study characteristics of animals such as their origin, interrelationships, classification, life histories and diseases. A person in this career has to coordinate preventive programs to control the outbreak of wildlife diseases and analyze characteristics of animals to identify and classify them. Theses are just some of the many things a person in a Zoologist career has to do.
